Dr Herrera’s Philosophy,
I am able to successfully promote wellness and high quality of care in every aspect of the clinic by making sure to listen to all of my patients and performing a complete and thorough examination.
I also ensure that my patients receive a thorough testing of all organs within the body. I try to avoid medications, exploring potential alternative treatment methods first.
If medication is necessary I try to give the lowest possible dose. The Heights Doctors Clinic uses electronic medical records to improve quality of care and decrease medication side effects.
I learned to treat patients with the highest quality as a result of my education received at Harvard Medical School. I received additional training at the Food and Drug Administration in Washington, D.C., and the University of Texas School of Public Health in Houston, Texas.
We perform clinical trials in gout, diabetes, and asthma.
